The story behind the name

A name shaped by Sofia

Sredara takes its inspiration from Sredets, the medieval name of Sofia—the city where I was born. The name is associated with the centre or middle: a place at the intersection of routes, systems and different worlds.

That idea immediately felt true to the work I have spent my career doing.

A career between worlds

Between ambition and execution

My parents left Bulgaria at a time when the systems around them no longer offered the stability to plan, build or trust what came next. I grew up in the United States, studied in London and later moved to Dubai—a city where ambition was developing faster than many of the structures needed to support it.

Over almost two decades in the Gulf, I repeatedly found myself working in that space between ambition and execution.

What the work has taught me

The industries changed. The underlying challenge did not.

I built businesses of my own, including a restaurant and catering operation and an omnichannel marketplace that grew to more than 160 brands and 13,000 products. I also worked inside other organisations: creating business divisions and operating models, restructuring a 66-project delivery pipeline, preparing a crypto product for investors, and supporting the delivery of major FIFA international tournaments.

What I became good at was finding the point where growth, complexity and execution stopped connecting—and building the structure that brought them back together.

What Sredara builds

The structure behind consistent progress.

That structure might be a workflow, an operating model, clearer ownership, a set of SLAs, stronger governance or a delivery cadence that allows different teams and partners to move in the same direction. It is the work that turns “this should work” into “this works consistently.”

  • Clearer ownership
  • Operating models
  • Governance and SLAs
  • Delivery cadence

Returning to the centre

Practical implementation across Europe and the Gulf.

Returning to Bulgaria gave me the opportunity to bring those experiences together and build something of my own: a consultancy grounded in practical implementation across the two operating environments I know best—Europe and the Gulf.

Sredara builds the operating structures that allow organisations to move forward—and continue to hold as they grow.

Call to action

Is your business outgrowing the way it currently operates?

Sredara works with organisations that need clearer ownership, stronger workflows, better delivery visibility and operating structures that can hold as the business grows.

We will discuss where delivery is breaking down, what the business needs next and whether Sredara is the right partner.
